Role Overview

As an Associate Analyst in Risk Management Services, you will be instrumental in executing global processes focused on compliance monitoring for engagements across various Service Lines. This involves ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and EY policy requirements. The role demands adaptability in a complex, unstructured environment, requiring innovative thinking, logical reasoning, strong communication skills, and the ability to make informed decisions swiftly.

The Opportunity

The Global Compliance Engagement Testing (GCET) program, under Global Risk Management, conducts compliance assessments on engagements. This internal review process selects engagements to evaluate their compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal EY policies, providing feedback and ratings. The team also generates analytical reports for global, area, and regional stakeholders. This is a significant opportunity to join a leading firm and contribute to enhancing its compliance framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and utilize EY databases and tools for compliance monitoring validations.
• Conduct systematic and intuitive secondary research to monitor compliance.
• Analyze research findings, draw conclusions, and report on review outcomes.
• Ensure timely communication of review results to relevant parties.
• Apply analytical and project management methodologies to meet key performance indicators.
• Complete all assigned projects according to standard operating procedures and deadlines.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Contribute ideas during team meetings for enhancement.
• Undertake ad hoc process activities as assigned.
• Manage project timelines effectively to ensure quality delivery and avoid escalations.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree or equivalent from a reputable institution.
• 1-2 years of experience in research, compliance processes, data analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency in strong logical reasoning.
• Experience working in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Additional Qualifications

• Familiarity with risk management concepts.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently using data.

Technology and Tools

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Microsoft 365, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
