About the company
telli is building software for the next wave of customer communication, where AI voice agents handle large volumes of conversations between businesses and consumers. The team is focused on helping B2C companies create, launch, and continuously improve customer-facing AI agents that can operate at scale. Companies such as Sky are already using the platform, and the broader aim is to become a leading player in this category.
The team is small, ambitious, and highly product- and engineering-driven. They work quickly, experiment often, rely heavily on AI tools, and value ownership, humility, and a low-ego environment.
Your mission
This role is a key hire for the company and is intended for someone who can help shape telli’s AI-native operating system from the ground up. The expectation is to build the internal engine that supports exceptional customer experiences and helps the business scale toward $100M ARR.
What you will do
- Own the full customer journey, including onboarding, expansion, and renewals, while keeping the customer experience at a very high standard.
- Build and improve internal business workflows with an automation-first approach, using tools such as n8n or Zapier to increase efficiency.
- Collect, evaluate, and communicate customer insights to the founders and engineering team, helping shape the product roadmap and uncover new growth paths.
- Work closely with engineers to define and refine internal tools that support scaling and better service delivery.
- Help establish the culture, structure, and operating rhythms of the operations team as an early member of the company.
What will make you successful
- You bring strong operating experience from building and scaling a business, whether in a fast-growing startup or your own venture.
- You are comfortable with technology, or have enough technical depth to understand how AI agent products function.
- You are highly customer-focused and can quickly understand customer problems, needs, and pain points from a business perspective.
- You have a track record of leading projects or initiatives from start to finish.
- You are practical, proactive, and willing to handle less glamorous work when needed.
- You enjoy solving problems independently and figuring things out without constant direction.
- You communicate clearly in both German and English.
- You are available to work on-site in Berlin five days a week.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is EUR 65,000 to EUR 85,000 per year.
