Role overview

Realstar is looking for an Assistant Resident Manager two-person team to live and work at one of its properties in Sarnia, Ontario. The role requires on-site living in a shared apartment, working four weekdays each week, every second weekend, and being available on-call some evenings.

What the job involves

  • Collect rent promptly and ensure payments are received on time.
  • Present and market available suites to prospective tenants.
  • Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces such as hallways, stairs, and elevators.
  • Handle small repair and maintenance tasks.
  • Get apartments ready for incoming residents.
  • Deliver strong service to current and prospective residents.
  • Support leasing activities for available suites.
  • Respond to after-hours and on-call requests as needed.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant has 2 to 3 years of experience in a comparable position, along with practical cleaning and minor repair abilities. Strong customer service skills, comfort working in a team, and availability for some evenings and weekends are also important.
