Role Overview
The company is hiring an Assistant / Project Manager for Southeast Asia. If you enjoy tackling challenges, staying curious, and working in a dynamic environment, this position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the complete project lifecycle for Southeast Asia, partnering with the right stakeholders to define goals, scope, deliverables, and constraints. Build detailed project plans covering timelines, milestones, staffing, and budget estimates.
- Direct the project team, allocate work, and track progress across active initiatives. Coordinate closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to support smooth execution. Run regular project, stakeholder, and leadership meetings, and share updates on progress, key milestones, risks, and issues.
- Plan and distribute the resources needed for each project, including people, equipment, and budget. Review how those resources are being used and make adjustments to improve performance. Anticipate risks, create mitigation measures, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and quality requirements.
- Complete project closeout activities such as final documentation, lessons-learned discussions, and handover of deliverables to the relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s qualification in Logistics, Engineering and Automation, Information Technology, or another related field.
- At least 5 years of strong project-handling experience, with solid project management capabilities and the ability to use different tools to support delivery.
- Working knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics management, or solution design in 3PL, automation, or similar areas.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication and negotiation abilities, plus a background in working directly with customers on project implementation.
- Strong spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Willingness to travel frequently across Asia-Pacific, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
