Location
The role is based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, in Worli. The hotel sits near Lower Parel, in one of India’s major business districts, and is positioned as an upscale urban retreat. It is known for premium food and beverage offerings, including AER Mumbai, a rooftop bar, and San:Qi, a pan-Asian restaurant featuring a wine bar, private dining spaces, open kitchens, and a menu spanning Indian, Chinese, Thai, and Japanese cuisine.
Role overview
This position supports the PR Manager in building awareness for the property across media channels, with a particular focus on local visibility. The role also contributes to marketing and advertising initiatives, the yearly public relations plan, the resort website, and electronic marketing activities such as newsletters and email communications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop publicity ideas that strengthen awareness and improve how the resort, spa, dining concepts, services, and team members are perceived.
- Identify publicity opportunities through research and a focused editorial outreach plan aimed at important feeder markets for both group and leisure business.
- Maintain productive media relationships and support PR objectives through releases, media kits, pitches, and other communication materials.
- Contribute to the annual PR plan by helping shape the roadmap, segment-wise strategy, and priority initiatives.
- Use digital marketing tools to expand reach, including newsletters, email campaigns, customized mini-sites, and other online channels.
- Keep the image bank and video assets updated so that media coverage and promotional usage stay current.
- Regularly update the property website while staying aligned with corporate standards.
- Work in line with Four Seasons sales and marketing standards and collaborate professionally with colleagues and planning teams.
- Ensure that promotions, advertising, direct mail, and collateral materials reflect the brand’s image and maintain a high level of quality.
- Follow the company’s Category One and Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as outlined in EmPact.
- Work closely with the Director of PR on all digital and social media accounts.
- Prepare scorecard updates and monthly public relations reports.
- Support guest enquiries within the sales and marketing function, including heavy phone traffic and walk-in site inspections.
- Help develop sales presentation materials for travel trade and group sales.
- Review and proofread marketing content such as brochures, direct mail, ads, printed promotions, and guest correspondence.
- Take on additional tasks or special projects assigned by the Director of Marketing.
Education and experience
A college-level education is required. The employer is seeking candidates with one to three years of experience in public relations, either with Four Seasons or a similar organization.
Skills and capabilities
The role calls for strong written communication, confident speaking and presentation skills, solid media relations experience, practical knowledge of digital e-marketing, familiarity with social media management, and the ability to produce monthly reports. It also requires understanding of graphic arts production, collateral development, computer operation, journalism basics, and broadcast production methods.
