Job description

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is hiring a meticulous and seasoned Assistant Manager for Procurement Compliance Audit. The position focuses on making sure procurement activities align with internal controls, legal and regulatory obligations, and accepted industry standards. This role helps safeguard transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency across procurement.

You will also support the organization by carrying out detailed audits, highlighting areas where processes fall short of compliance, and recommending practical improvements that strengthen procurement governance and reduce risk.

Responsibilities

  • Design, run, and coordinate procurement compliance audits to check alignment with company policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Examine procurement contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements to confirm compliance and surface possible risks.
  • Work closely with procurement, finance, and legal stakeholders to resolve audit observations and carry out corrective measures.
  • Create and update procurement compliance policies, procedures, and control frameworks.
  • Track procurement activity for signs of fraud, misuse, waste, or abuse, and suggest ways to reduce exposure.
  • Draft detailed audit reports for senior leadership that include findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
  • Keep up to date with changes in procurement regulations, laws, and market standards to maintain compliance.
  • Assist with training and awareness initiatives focused on procurement ethics and compliance.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of experience in procurement audit, compliance, or a closely related area.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement workflows, policy controls, and regulatory obligations.
  • Hands-on experience with audit execution and the preparation of structured compliance and risk reports.
  • Sharp analytical ability, strong attention to detail, and a practical approach to solving problems.
  • Comfort using audit/compliance management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities, with the confidence to coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Professional certifications such as CICA, CISA, or CIA are advantageous.
