Role overview
The Assistant Manager for Meeting Services oversees the daily running of the Meeting Services team. This includes planning and coordinating meeting room setups, handling room resets, and managing equipment used for meetings.
Key duties
The role supports the Manager, Meeting Services by helping define workload expectations, setting targets for results, and assigning tasks to staff. It is also responsible for ensuring customer expectations are met through smooth service delivery.
In addition, this position manages inventory, equipment, and other resources required by the department, and oversees procurement activities for the team.
Reporting line
This role reports directly to the Manager, Meeting Services.
