Role Overview
The Assistant Manager - Marketing Communication will own marketing communications for the chemicals business, supporting brand visibility, demand generation, and customer engagement across digital and offline channels. This role combines campaign execution, content development, web and social management, lead handling, design coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end marketing communication activities for the chemicals business, including product launches, promotional campaigns, and customer engagement events.
- Plan, run, and improve digital campaigns on platforms such as LinkedIn, Google Ads, and other industry-relevant channels to increase visibility and generate leads.
- Manage content calendars and social media activity to keep the brand presence steady and consistent.
- Update and maintain the company website so it reflects current campaigns, product information, user experience goals, and SEO needs.
- Monitor incoming leads from marketing efforts, ensure prompt follow-up, nurture prospects, and coordinate transfer to the sales team while assessing lead quality and conversion performance.
- Create and maintain strong marketing content for campaign assets, sales collateral, pre-sales support, emailers, newsletters, datasheets, proposal templates, brochures, success stories, technical presentations, and case studies.
- Make sure all communication follows brand standards and regulatory requirements while making technical information easy to understand.
- Carry out market research to help review, sharpen, and improve marketing plans and product promotions.
- Build and implement marketing communication plans aligned with business objectives and brand strategy.
- Prepare attractive visuals for digital and print use, including brochures, flyers, banners, infographics, and social media creatives.
- Work closely with sales teams and customers to stay informed about market competition and industry movements.
- Track performance indicators such as website traffic, lead volume, conversion rates, and campaign ROI, then use the findings to improve future plans.
Tools and Technical Exposure
The role calls for comfort with CRM platforms, email marketing systems, design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Canva, and digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, HubSpot, and Hootsuite.
Experience Required
Applicants should have 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience, with B2B chemicals exposure preferred.
Skills and Competencies
This position requires a strong blend of digital marketing, communications, content, design, analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
