Role overview
ORO24 Developments is seeking an Assistant Manager Finance in Dubai to lead core finance operations, strengthen reporting quality, and support management with reliable financial insights. The role centers on monthly reporting, compliance, audits, budgeting, team supervision, and process improvement within a real estate environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare financial management reports and present monthly as well as year-to-date financial results with analysis, ensuring alignment with IFRS standards.
- Build recurring analytical reports covering important business metrics such as sales, inventory, costing, and customer collections.
- Supervise the accounting team so that journal entries are completed and posted on schedule, and all required schedules and reconciliations are finalized on time.
- Support and coordinate the organization’s budgeting cycle under guidance from senior leadership.
- Lead quarterly and annual statutory audits, work with external auditors, review outcomes, identify risk areas, and suggest improvements.
- Drive ongoing enhancement of accounting and finance processes while helping the team adopt best-practice methods.
- Create and refine accounting policies and procedures to suit current and future business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to VAT and tax obligations and maintain compliance with regulatory expectations.
- Authorize and manage operational payments, including supplier and vendor settlements, in line with company policy.
- Monitor receivables and payables reports regularly.
- Coordinate closely with the collections team to reduce defaults and ensure timely follow-up actions.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and other MIS updates for senior management within deadlines.
Qualifications and experience
- Master’s degree in Commerce, or a qualified MBA in Finance, or CA/CPA.
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft Office tools, and accounting software.
- Good understanding of IFRS, especially as applied to real estate operations.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role with a reputable organization.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and support an accounts team.
- Preference for candidates familiar with DLD and RERA requirements for real estate projects.
