Role overview
The Assistant Manager for Compensation & Benefits will support and execute regional reward activities while working closely with HR and business leaders. The position is focused on maintaining effective compensation practices, strengthening benefits administration, and helping the organisation stay competitive and compliant across markets.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the daily administration of compensation and benefits matters, including yearly salary and bonus cycles.
- Assist in reviewing and improving reward structures, policies, and compensation frameworks.
- Carry out market benchmarking and role evaluations to support fair internal alignment and external competitiveness.
- Work with HR Business Partners and other internal teams to provide advice on compensation and benefits topics.
- Make sure practices align with local employment laws and internal governance requirements.
- Contribute to regional C&B projects, workflow improvements, and system upgrades.
- Prepare compensation analyses and reports to help management make informed decisions.
Candidate profile
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.
- You should have at least 8 years of relevant compensation and benefits experience in a structured HR setting.
- Practical knowledge of salary bands, incentive plans, and employee benefits is important.
- Experience with annual pay reviews and market benchmarking exercises is expected.
- You need to be comfortable analysing HR data and turning it into useful insights for stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities are needed.
- You must be detail-oriented and able to juggle several priorities at once.
