About the Role

Burnside Hospital is seeking caring and enthusiastic Assistants in Nursing to support its clinical team at the Toorak Gardens site. This is a casual, flexible opportunity across the Wards and High Dependency Unit (HDU), contributing to safe and effective patient care.

In this role, you will work alongside Registered and Enrolled Nurses to assist with day-to-day clinical support tasks. Typical duties include helping patients with hygiene and mobility, completing routine observations, assisting with patient transfers, and supporting admissions and discharges. You will also help ensure the ward and HDU remain safe, comfortable, and welcoming for patients and their families.

The hospital is looking for applicants who are either second- or third-year undergraduate nursing students and/or hold a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance, and who enjoy collaborative, patient-focused work.
