This position is for an Assistant Head Chef in Bromley, England, United Kingdom. It is a senior kitchen role within the restaurant team, supporting the smooth running of the kitchen and stepping up to lead when the Head Chef is unavailable. Compensation
The pay for this role is up to £14.25 per hour, plus Tronc and additional benefits.
What you will do
- Take charge of kitchen operations when the Head Chef is absent, guiding the team and keeping service running efficiently.
- Lead the kitchen team with a focus on producing outstanding food while supporting strong profitability.
- Know the menu, recipes, and specifications thoroughly, and be comfortable working across any kitchen section when needed.
- Organize shift preparation, ensure the correct amount of food is ready, and assign tasks effectively across the team.
- Work closely with the wider restaurant team to create great experiences for guests and maintain high standards in food presentation and quality.
- Keep the restaurant and kitchen environment polished, compliant with company standards, and aligned with internal policies and procedures.
