About the Role

The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is seeking a dedicated Asset Specialist to join their General Services Division in St. Augustine, FL. This full-time, onsite position involves comprehensive management of agency capital assets, including tracking, monitoring sales, overseeing vending machine operations, and ensuring record accuracy. The role also encompasses full responsibility for agency programs related to Ballistic Vests and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

Responsibilities

  • Track agency capital assets throughout their lifecycle.
  • Monitor and manage the sales process for agency assets.
  • Oversee the operations and performance of vending machines.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of asset records.
  • Manage all aspects of the Ballistic Vests program.
  • Administer the Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) program.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A valid Florida Driver’s License is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is expected.
  • Familiarity with general office equipment operation is needed.

Additional Information

This position carries an unforeseeable risk of pathogen exposure. It is classified under the Civilian Pay Grade and is Non-Exempt under FLSA. The annual salary is $50,000 USD.
