Job description
Overview
AJ Solutions is hiring an Article Assistant focused on direct tax work for its Mumbai office in Prabadevi, near Prabhadevi Station. The opportunity is designed for a 2-year article assistant role with exposure across core tax, audit, and compliance functions.
Key Exposure Areas
- Hands-on work in direct tax matters
- Assistance with Goods and Services Tax (GST)
- Learning exposure to corporate law matters
- Experience with international tax assignments
- One-month involvement in the AI vertical to develop skills in tax technology, analytics, and workflow automation
- Support in litigation handling across different fiscal statutes
- Participation in statutory audit, tax audit, and GST audit activities
- Drafting and applying standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Implementation and review support for internal financial controls (IFC)
Compensation
The stipend is set at INR 10,000 for the first year and INR 12,000 for the second year.
Additional Information
Applicants who can join immediately are preferred. The role is based in Prabadevi, Mumbai, close to Prabhadevi Station.
