Role overview

We are seeking an Art Director for a Switzerland-based opportunity with a partner company that oversees the application process and subsequent hiring steps. The role focuses on developing striking, high-impact creative for restaurant and retail clients, spanning branding, campaigns, social content, and digital marketing.

This is a hands-on creative leadership position that blends strategic thinking with execution. You will guide ideas from the first concept stage through final delivery, ensuring that visual output stays aligned with marketing goals, audience insights, and brand direction. The environment is collaborative, fast-moving, and feedback-oriented, with a strong emphasis on independence, quality, and cultural awareness.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and refine compelling creative concepts for campaigns, branding work, social media, and broader multi-channel marketing efforts.
  • Turn marketing strategy and audience understanding into visual directions, sketches, storyboards, and finished creative assets.
  • Own projects end to end, maintaining consistency, craft quality, and timely delivery from ideation through final handoff.
  • Confidently present creative thinking and design decisions to internal stakeholders and clients, while integrating feedback constructively.
  • Work closely with designers, writers, and strategists to strengthen ideas and expand creative possibilities.
  • Stay current on cultural trends, advertising standards, and platform-specific creative needs.
  • Contribute to ideation sessions and help raise the creative standard across the team.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of experience in advertising, agency, or brand-led design settings.
  • A strong conceptual mindset backed by advanced visual design ability and a polished portfolio.
  • Excellent command of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Ability to use AI tools as part of ideation, refinement, and production workflows.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and perform well under tight deadlines.
  • Clear communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to explain creative choices.
  • Self-motivated approach and comfort working independently in a distributed remote setup.
  • Strong teamwork and brainstorming skills in cross-functional environments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a practical problem-solving approach.
