Job description
Role Overview
This Area Sales Manager position is based in Hyderabad and sits within the Sales (CSS) division. The role is designed to drive business from current projects and channel partners, expand secondary sales, manage receivables, support marketing efforts, and provide after-sales assistance. It also involves consistent engagement with architects, fabricators, interior professionals, builders, and end users from the assigned database.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop sales opportunities from ongoing projects and channel partner networks.
- Increase secondary sales through active partner coverage and follow-through.
- Support channel partners with required coordination and business enablement.
- Track project leads and convert them into revenue opportunities.
- Follow up on requirements, stock status, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor payment collection and support receivables management.
- Assist with marketing-related activities and provide post-sale support.
- Drive FAB Star growth initiatives.
- Carry out any other work assigned as part of the role.
Qualifications and Experience
A graduate degree is required. The preferred experience range is 3 to 5 years in a relevant sales role. The role is intended for candidates aged 28 to 34 years. Applicants must have a valid driving licence for a two-wheeler and should own a two-wheeler.
Skills and Competencies
The role calls for solid computer proficiency, especially with Google Sheets and Excel, along with basic analytical ability. A science background or MBA is considered optional.
