Role Overview

The role involves supporting maintenance operations in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on safety, equipment reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement. The selected candidate will work on preventive and breakdown maintenance, automation support, documentation, and coordination with internal teams to keep operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

You will be expected to identify safety risks during critical maintenance work and ensure the correct use of work permits, lockout-tagout practices, and job safety analyses in line with SH&E requirements.

You will plan, track, and support predictive, preventive, and shutdown maintenance activities, keep utility areas organized, and manage critical spares in a way that supports availability while controlling excess usage.

You will troubleshoot and carry out breakdown maintenance for electrical and mechanical assets such as transformers, generators, substations, and control systems, aiming for fast resolution and minimal production impact.

You will maintain and improve automation systems including HMI and PLC platforms, perform regular backups, and look for opportunities to automate additional processes to improve reliability.

You will handle equipment qualification and validation tasks, prepare records aligned with ISO, cGMP, and statutory standards, and keep master maintenance schedules updated in SAP.

You will support corrective and preventive actions by using root cause analysis, Why-Why methods, and incident investigations for major breakdowns and equipment failures, while working to meet MTTR and MTBF targets.

You will train and evaluate team members on basic maintenance methods, tool handling, and installation practices to strengthen technical capability and promote safe execution.

You will also assist with small modification projects, coordinate with plant stakeholders, raise purchase requests, inspect incoming spare parts, and contribute to cost estimates and budget planning for department needs.
