Job description

Role Overview

We are looking for an Architectural Drafter to join a fast-growing practice in Singapore that focuses on industrial developments, workers’ dormitories, specialised industrial facilities, and energy-related projects. This is a permanent role suited to someone who already has experience in architectural work and wants exposure beyond standard residential assignments.

Position Details

Position: Architectural Drafter
Location: Suntec City Office Tower 2
Industry: Architecture / Building & Construction
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to 5000, depending on experience
Leave: 16.5 days of annual leave

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the project team in delivering work on schedule, within budget, and in line with client and authority requirements.
  • Contribute to several projects at the same time, covering the process from concept/design stage through to project completion, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Prepare the full range of project drawings, including submission sets, detailed drawings, construction drawings, and as-built documentation.
  • Handle authority submissions under supervision, making sure all drawings and forms are properly completed and coordinating on submission-related matters.
  • Help maintain workflow practices that meet company standards and suggest practical improvements where needed.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support long-term collaboration.
  • Carry out other assigned tasks, which may include site visits to better understand how drawings translate into construction on site.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in architectural practice.
  • A minimum diploma in Architecture.
  • Experience across the design-to-construction process.
  • Working knowledge of CAD and BIM software.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with different parties under supervision.
