Role Overview
This position is for an Apprentice Pharmacist in retail stores based in Panchkula, with the apprenticeship lasting 1 year. The role sits within Pharmacy Operations and is part of the retail healthcare and pharmaceutical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the dispensing of medicines while working under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist.
- Process prescriptions carefully and keep pharmacy documentation up to date.
- Help manage stock levels and maintain inventory control.
- Store and handle pharmaceutical products correctly and safely.
- Provide customers with basic information about products and common healthcare queries.
- Keep the store clean, compliant, and operating smoothly.
- Work with store colleagues to ensure day-to-day pharmacy operations run efficiently.
- Build understanding of pharmacy regulations and safety practices, and follow them consistently.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be freshers or students/passed-out candidates from B.Pharma or D.Pharma. Candidates who are in the process of obtaining a PCI (Pharmacy Council of India) licence can also apply. A basic understanding of pharmaceutical products and retail pharmacy workflows is expected, along with good communication and interpersonal skills and readiness to work in a retail store setting.
