Role Overview
This opportunity is for an appointment setter handling inbound calls only. There is no outbound prospecting or cold calling involved. The role is fully remote, with full-time hours, and focuses on turning incoming IT support enquiries into scheduled on-site appointments after discussing pricing and the customer’s technical issue.
Key Duties
- Answer calls from customers seeking IT support.
- Gather an understanding of the technical problem raised by the caller.
- Explain pricing and arrange on-site appointments accordingly.
- Work in a goal-driven environment with a strong focus on conversions and targets.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in phone sales or appointment-setting roles within Australia.
- Confident verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic familiarity with computers and IT concepts.
- Ability to upsell effectively and handle sales conversations.
- Strong target focus, initiative, and self-motivation.
- A quick-thinking, proactive attitude.
- Must be physically based in Australia and hold unrestricted work rights; applications from outside Australia will not be considered.
- For remote work, candidates need a Windows computer, reliable high-speed internet, and a noise-cancelling headset.
Training and Joining Details
Training will be provided, lasting approximately 2 to 4 hours. This training is unpaid. Candidates who can begin immediately are preferred.
Compensation
Pay is set at USD 25 to USD 30 per hour, plus superannuation.
