Role overview
This is a senior customer and commercial position with a New Zealand FMCG company that owns established brands such as Vogel’s Cereals and the Tom & Luke snacking range. The role sits in a fast-growing business with a strong presence in breakfast and snacking, and it carries responsibility for retail strategy and execution in New Zealand, together with regular engagement with the Australian head office.
What you will do
- Lead the retail strategy for New Zealand and help drive its execution in market.
- Work closely with Australian head office contacts as part of cross-border business relationships.
- Use customer understanding and commercial analysis to shape broader business decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing, innovation, operations, and technical teams to build plans and deliver strong in-market outcomes.
- Travel to Australia several times each year as part of the position.
What you will bring
- Solid experience managing grocery accounts, including working credibly with head office stakeholders.
- Strong commercial judgement with the ability to turn data into clear actions and business direction.
- Confidence in presenting ideas, addressing issues constructively, and bringing stakeholders together.
- A practical, hands-on approach suited to a lean environment.
- Experience with Australian grocery accounts is beneficial, though not essential.
