Job description

Job Summary

This role supports merger and acquisition work by carrying out research, analysis, and coordination tasks throughout the transaction process. It helps assess opportunities, prepares investment-related materials, maintains deal tracking documents, and contributes to integration reporting while building practical exposure to M&A analysis and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the corporate development and M&A team with research, data collection, and basic financial analysis as directed.
  • Review markets, industries, and competitors to help evaluate possible investment opportunities.
  • Help create and refresh financial models, valuation results, and sensitivity scenarios using existing templates.
  • Support the development of investment decks, reports, and briefing documents.
  • Organize information needed for financial, commercial, and operational due diligence work.
  • Keep deal trackers, databases, and document folders up to date with proper accuracy and version control.
  • Assist with post-merger integration monitoring by updating synergy trackers, milestone dashboards, and status reports.
  • Prepare simple analyses, summaries, and charts for internal review purposes.
  • Coordinate meetings, supporting materials, and follow-up actions across M&A workstreams.
  • Ensure all assigned analysis and documentation are timely, accurate, and consistent.
  • Build understanding of M&A processes, valuation methods, and transaction best practices through guided, hands-on work.
  • Carry out additional duties assigned by the Line Manager to support departmental goals.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business, engineering, or law is required.
  • This position is open to fresh graduates.
  • Ability to conduct economic research.
  • Working knowledge of financial modeling.
  • Experience preparing presentations and written material.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
