About the role
OCBC, Singapore’s longest-established bank, is undergoing an ongoing transformation to become a future-ready organisation that combines technology, creativity, and a strong learning culture. The bank’s long-term aim is to be Asia’s leading financial services partner for a sustainable future.
In this position, you will support the Global Consumer Secured Lending business within Global Consumer Financial Services Finance. The role focuses on business finance partnership, performance management, strategic advisory, and execution support for the Global Consumer Secured Lending Leadership team.
Why this role matters
You will contribute directly to improving secured lending business performance by turning data into insight, strengthening decision support, and helping leadership make informed choices. The role involves working closely with the Head of Global Consumer Secured Lending and product leaders on strategy, planning, execution, and business performance monitoring.
What you will do
- Prepare and maintain accurate performance tracking and timely management reporting.
- Deliver forward-looking analysis and practical support on both financial and non-financial performance topics for the Group CSL Leadership Team.
- Assist in carrying out growth plans across products, customer segments, and channels, including pricing, investment planning, and strategic cost initiatives.
- Assess and approve new product ideas and pricing approaches.
- Monitor major strategic initiatives, flag risks and opportunities versus plan, and recommend corrective actions when needed.
- Strengthen performance and budget ownership through the design and application of balanced scorecards.
- Own the Annual Operating Plan process and work with BP&A finance partners to ensure strong planning and performance management aligned to product and segment strategies.
- Support a solid financial control framework and help ensure adherence to internal financial policies and group accounting requirements for sustainable growth.
What you bring
You should have a degree in Business, Finance, or a closely related discipline. The role calls for strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and confidence in handling complex data to support sound business decisions. You should also be able to communicate clearly, collaborate effectively across teams, and show a self-driven, results-oriented mindset with a record of delivering outcomes.
What the bank offers
OCBC provides a competitive base salary, a comprehensive and flexible benefits package, community-focused initiatives, and strong learning and professional development opportunities. The organisation also emphasizes equal opportunity, fair employment, and selection based on capability and alignment with its culture and values.
Who can apply
Applicants with the required academic background and the ability to contribute to strategic business finance, planning, and performance management in a banking environment are encouraged to apply.
