Job description
About the Role
This position is for a creative and tech-savvy acting coach who can blend performance craft with artificial intelligence tools. The role focuses on helping actors and related creatives strengthen character work, script interpretation, audition preparation, scene study, and delivery through AI-supported methods. It is a practical, hands-on opportunity for someone who understands acting deeply and can use modern AI systems to speed up learning, sharpen feedback, and improve performance results.
What You’ll Do
You will support performers in using AI for character research, script analysis, and role preparation. The role also involves building coaching approaches that combine acting technique with AI-driven insight, running individual and group sessions, and helping actors at different skill levels improve their craft. You will also assist with self-tapes, stage work, film projects, and digital content creation, while reviewing AI-generated exercises and interpretations for usefulness and accuracy.
In addition, you will work with writers, directors, producers, and other creative teammates to improve performance development. The job includes researching new AI tools relevant to acting and storytelling, creating workshops and training material, and tracking progress so coaching methods can be refined over time.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate should have professional exposure to acting, coaching, theatre, film, television, or the broader performance arts field. A solid grounding in acting systems such as Stanislavski, Meisner, Method Acting, Practical Aesthetics, or similar approaches is important. You should also be comfortable using AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar tools for creative and analytical work.
We are looking for someone who can judge AI-generated content critically and convert it into practical acting support. Strong communication, mentoring, and interpersonal ability are essential, along with research and analysis skills. Experience leading workshops or educational sessions is a plus. You should be able to work independently as well as alongside multidisciplinary creative teams, and have a genuine interest in the meeting point between performance and artificial intelligence. English fluency is required, and other languages are an added advantage.
How to Apply
Applicants should email their CV or resume, a cover letter explaining their acting background, coaching experience, and interest in AI-supported performance development, plus any portfolio material, showreel, coaching samples, or project links if available. Two professional references, including name, role, and contact details, are also requested.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to interview and could be asked to lead a short coaching demonstration or present an example of an AI-assisted acting workflow. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply, including both experienced acting professionals and innovative performance educators.
What’s Offered
This role offers the chance to contribute to innovative projects where acting and artificial intelligence overlap. The environment is described as flexible and collaborative, with access to advanced AI tools and resources. You will also have the opportunity to help shape new performance-training methods, gain professional growth, and take part in interdisciplinary creative work. Compensation is competitive and will depend on qualifications and experience.
