Role Overview

For Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara, the business is looking for a proactive and safety-minded Adventure Park Supervisor. This position is responsible for day-to-day park operations, supporting the team, and ensuring guests enjoy a safe, smooth, and memorable experience. The role requires strong leadership, attention to safety, and the ability to keep activities running efficiently while maintaining company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily running of the adventure park, covering attractions such as rides, climbing features, zip lines, obstacle courses, and guest-use areas.
  • Direct, organize, and assist operational team members to deliver strong service and maintain safety standards.
  • Carry out routine inspections of equipment, attractions, and site facilities each day.
  • Make sure every guest receives the necessary safety instructions and follows park guidelines and procedures.
  • Act quickly on incidents, emergencies, and guest feedback or concerns.
  • Keep an eye on crowd movement, manpower coverage, and operational productivity during busy periods.
  • Guide new staff on operating procedures, safety expectations, and emergency response practices.
  • Prepare and keep up-to-date operational reports, incident records, and maintenance documentation.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to resolve equipment concerns and reduce interruption to operations.
  • Ensure the park remains clean, tidy, and visually well presented at all times.
  • Provide support for ticketing, events, and special group activities when needed.
  • Assist management in meeting revenue goals, guest satisfaction targets, and overall operational objectives.

Requirements

  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, recreation management, sports management, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience in adventure parks, amusement parks, recreation venues, hospitality, or comparable settings.
  • Good knowledge of safety rules and day-to-day operating procedures.
  • Proven leadership and people management capability.
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable making decisions and staying composed in high-pressure situations.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage.
  • Willingness to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.

Work Location

The position is based at Banana Island Resort Doha by Anantara in Doha, Qatar.
