Job Overview

Responsibilities
The Admissions Recruiter is primarily responsible for engaging with prospective students through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions. All communications must be meticulously documented in the Salesforce CRM system. Recruiters will collaborate with Admissions Advisors and program staff to organize and execute virtual events, such as webinars, ensuring accurate and timely dissemination of information regarding the admissions process, program updates, and other relevant details to prospects. A key duty is responding to prospect inquiries within 48 hours and maintaining the integrity of prospect and applicant data within the Salesforce CRM. This involves utilizing Salesforce features for communication, note-taking, and data management. The recruiter will work closely with Admissions Advisors to understand the admissions decision-making framework and may assist with file completion. Additionally, they may represent Admissions during webinars or other recruitment activities.
Work Interactions
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Recruiter provides support for Tropaia and Commencement, alongside all other SCS staff members. Daily interactions include:
- Admissions Advisors, Program Staff, and the Director of Admissions
- SCS prospects
- Various departments within SCS and Georgetown University, specifically Academic Programs, Strategy, Marketing, and Enrollment Management
- Processing and documentation operations
Requirements and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of one year of progressive experience in an organizational setting is necessary.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of CRM and Application Systems is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with database maintenance are required.
- The candidate must be detail-oriented, a team player, and capable of providing a high level of service.
Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of CRM and Application Systems, such as Salesforce and Banner, is preferred.
Work Mode Designation
This position is designated as Hybrid with 2 days in the office. Please be aware that work mode designations are subject to regular review to meet the evolving needs of the University. Pay Range
The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.16 to $31.30 per hour. Compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's operational requirements and market conditions.
