Job description

Role Overview

The International School of Management, Patna is hiring an experienced and driven Admission Manager to lead the admissions function. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in admissions at a respected management college or university and a genuine interest in supporting students through an important stage of their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle the full admissions workflow, beginning with first-time enquiries and continuing through to final enrolment.
  • Review and process applications and supporting documents with accuracy, including transcripts, test scores, and recommendation letters.
  • Plan and coordinate admissions-related activities such as open houses, interviews, and campus visits.
  • Lead, supervise, and support the admissions team so they deliver strong service and stay highly organized.
  • Provide onboarding, coaching, and ongoing development support for admissions staff.
  • Track team performance against targets and encourage a productive, team-oriented environment.
  • Keep in regular contact with prospective students and families to guide them on deadlines, eligibility, and admission steps.
  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, guidance counsellors, community groups, and other educational partners.
  • Represent the institution at college fairs, recruitment drives, and similar outreach events.
  • Work closely with academic, financial aid, and student services teams to support a smooth onboarding experience for admitted students.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team on promotional content and initiatives that improve the admissions experience.
  • Ensure all admissions activities comply with institutional rules, accreditation standards, and applicable laws.
  • Maintain complete, current, and accurate applicant records in the admissions database.

Experience Required

This role requires 10 to 12 years of dedicated admissions experience, specifically gained in a reputed management college or university.

Qualifications

An MBA is required for this position.
