Role Summary
The Procurement Administration Officer will provide focused administrative assistance to the Procurement Department. This position is responsible for keeping procurement activities coordinated, documentation accurate, and communication flowing smoothly among vendors, internal teams, and management.
What You Will Do
- Assist the procurement function with everyday administrative tasks.
- Work with internal teams to gather needs and help ensure purchase requests are handled on time.
- Coordinate with suppliers and track quotations, deliveries, and supporting paperwork.
- Keep procurement files, contracts, and vendor records well maintained and easy to access.
- Help prepare reports, purchase orders, and approval-tracking updates.
- Support adherence to procurement rules, policies, and internal procedures.
- Serve as a central point of contact between Procurement and other stakeholders to keep work moving efficiently.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration or a closely related discipline.
- Between 2 and 4 years of experience in administrative support or procurement coordination.
- Strong planning, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different stakeholders.
- Comfort using MS Office; ERP system experience is an advantage.
- Very good attention to detail and the ability to juggle several priorities at once.
- Capable of performing well in a fast-moving, process-driven environment.
