Role Overview
This accounting role is based in Singapore and is a full-time, non-management position within the Finance & Accounting function. The position is tied to a specific job opening and is not a remote role.
What You Will Do
You will handle day-to-day accounting support with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and compliance. Core work includes reviewing figures, postings, and documents for proper entry, mathematical correctness, and appropriate coding. You will also keep files, records, cash, and cash equivalents organized and protected in line with company procedures.
The role involves maintaining and working with computerized financial data, updating electronic spreadsheets, and classifying, coding, and summarizing financial information for journals, ledgers, and accounting systems. You will prepare and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, and payroll reports, support period-end closing activities, and prepare, review, reconcile, and issue invoices, bills, and account statements as required.
In addition to technical accounting work, you are expected to follow all company policies, maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, safeguard company assets, and respect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. The role also requires timely and courteous service to guests, professional communication by phone, email, and in writing, and strong teamwork to help achieve shared goals. Other reasonable duties may be assigned by supervisors.
