Role Overview
This position sits within Adobe’s Accounting Center of Excellence and supports the ongoing automation and scaling of accounting operations. The role involves ownership of key general ledger activities, contribution to the monthly close, participation in transformation initiatives, and responsibility for local statutory reporting for multiple Adobe entities across Europe.
What You Will Do
- Carry out reconciliations for a range of general ledger accounts in line with company policies and procedures.
- Support month-end close activities by making sure transactions are captured accurately and on time.
- Help with Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and related compliance checks.
- Contribute to process enhancement efforts and accounting transformation work aimed at improving scale, efficiency, and productivity.
- Handle monthly local GAAP accounting activities.
- Prepare financial statements for statutory audit requirements.
- Coordinate year-end audit schedules and information requests from external auditors.
- Partner with statutory auditors to ensure audits are completed promptly.
- Prepare VAT and other compliance filings on monthly, quarterly, and annual timelines.
- Collaborate across teams and maintain effective working relationships with internal support and customer groups.
- Take on additional analysis and project-based tasks as needed.
What You Need
- A qualified accounting credential is preferred, such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA.
- Between 1 and 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- A collaborative, positive approach and comfort working in a changing, fast-moving environment.
- Strong motivation to improve processes continuously.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel capability is required.
- Helpful working knowledge of PowerPoint, SAP, Power BI, BlackLine, and Tableau.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
