Role overview

This in-person Account Manager position is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with some local and regional travel expected. The role is centered on managing client relationships inside an assigned territory, strengthening existing business, and uncovering new revenue opportunities. It suits someone who enjoys consultative sales, solving problems for customers, and working with a fast-moving creative team.

In this role, you will guide customers through the full apparel and merchandise ordering journey, from the first concept to final delivery. You will serve as the main contact for each account, making sure every order is handled accurately, on time, and with close attention to detail while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and expand client accounts within a defined territory for TGI Promo.
  • Connect with customers through calls, emails, text messages, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Actively pursue new orders and identify additional sales opportunities.
  • Meet local customers one to two times each week and travel occasionally to nearby locations.
  • Track artwork approvals and follow up on upcoming or pending orders.
  • Prepare weekly updates on activity and sales performance.
  • Work toward or beyond sales targets and other performance measures.
  • Coordinate closely with sales, production, and operations teams to keep customers satisfied.

Candidate profile

The ideal applicant is a strong communicator who can build lasting relationships, stay organized, and remain self-driven toward goals. This position also calls for comfort with outbound selling and consistent follow-up, along with the ability to manage several accounts and deadlines at once. A willingness to travel locally for client meetings is also important.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Candidates must be based in Tulsa, OK.
  • Applicants must be able to work on-site at the Tulsa office.
  • Working knowledge of core business tools such as email, CRM platforms, and Google Workspace is needed.
  • Professional communication skills with clients and stakeholders are essential.
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, collaborative team setting is expected.
  • Prior experience in sales, account management, or customer service is preferred.

Compensation and growth

The role offers competitive pay made up of a base salary plus monthly bonuses. Performance reviews are scheduled at 90 days, six months, and then annually. The company also outlines a growth path that can progress from Account Manager to Senior Account Manager, Lead Account Manager, and eventually Assistant Sales Manager.
