Role Summary

NWH is seeking an Account Manager to expand a sales territory by identifying new prospects and increasing share with existing customers in flooring, furniture, cabinetry, and related industries. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere in the United States and supports all NWH manufacturing facilities. The compensation range is $85,000 to $125,000 per year, depending on experience, plus bonus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand territory performance by pursuing new business and growing sales with existing hardwood lumber customers in relevant end markets.
  • Work closely with customers to understand requirements, design practical solutions, and deliver a smooth, outcome-focused sales experience.
  • Create and execute sales plans that promote the company’s diverse product portfolio.
  • Manage customer relationships through consistent, professional account service.
  • Identify and develop new markets for the company’s core product lines.
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to assess customer needs and deliver sales presentations.
  • Partner with teams such as Finance, Supply Chain, and Marketing to support a strong customer experience.
  • Represent NWH’s values through a service-oriented approach centered on Safety, People, Quality, Stewardship, and Innovation.
  • Lead and support change initiatives when needed.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 4 to 5 years of outside sales experience in the hardwood lumber industry is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely and travel 30% to 50% to support customer needs.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Marketing is strongly preferred, or equivalent experience in hardwood lumber sales.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license is required.
