About the role

MRI Software is looking for an Account Manager to help strengthen the company’s reputation in the market, deepen relationships with existing customers, and uncover new revenue within current accounts. The role is centered on consultative selling, promoting product adoption, and identifying opportunities such as add-on features, partner integrations, and moves from desktop solutions to cloud-based offerings.

This position suits a proactive sales professional who enjoys working with existing clients, building trusted relationships, and growing revenue across an assigned territory.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a trusted product and solutions advisor for customer business challenges and strategic goals.
  • Meet with clients, present MRI’s offerings, and represent the business at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with the wider sales function to exchange ideas, market knowledge, and business development approaches.
  • Manage the sales cycle by identifying whitespace opportunities, proposing solutions, maintaining customer relationships, arranging software demos, and negotiating opportunities across your territory with support from designated hunters.
  • Complete sales administration tasks in Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Build account plans with sales leadership and marketing to support short- and long-term goals for target clients.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations and assist with product demonstrations for current customers.
  • Develop integrated sales approaches with other business units on shared opportunities.
  • Run outbound calling campaigns to support individual growth initiatives.
  • Work toward and exceed annual sales and retention targets.
  • Manage contracting and related sales administration activities.
  • Keep customer relationships strong through both online and in-person engagement.
  • Maintain clear knowledge of MRI’s market position, strengths, and differentiators.
  • Keep an active pipeline, accurate records, and dependable forecasting reports.
  • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote its products.
  • Take on additional duties as needed.

What we’re looking for

  • At least 2 years of experience in strategic sales or account management within software or a similar environment.
  • Working knowledge of the real estate industry, along with the ability to network effectively in that space.
  • A strong history of growing revenue through client relationships and consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals while working with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • The ability to stay effective in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Salesforce experience is preferred, but not required.
