Role Overview

This position is part of the EMEA Client Service team. Although internally known as Client Service Manager, the role functions as an Account Manager and blends client relationship ownership, project coordination, and revenue growth. You will serve as the primary contact for clients, manage important accounts, ensure smooth project execution alongside the fieldwork team, and help drive commercial growth in your assigned market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spot expansion opportunities within existing accounts and promote additional services to increase revenue.
  • Support lead generation and new business efforts to help bring in new clients and opportunities.
  • Own and develop a portfolio of medium to large, moderately complex client accounts, with a focus on retention, satisfaction, and growth.
  • Oversee the delivery of medium to complex market research projects and help ensure results are delivered on schedule.
  • Guide sampling strategy decisions and track fieldwork progress closely.
  • Keep client communication clear and consistent, flagging risks or delays early and recommending corrective actions to protect service quality.
  • Track project budgets, commercial performance, and delivery metrics so work stays on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
  • Support clients across the EMEA region.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in account management and/or project management, preferably with online market research panel companies; having both skill sets is ideal.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • German language fluency is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial approach with comfort in a fast-changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A background in research, statistics, or data science is a plus.
