Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially minded and relationship-oriented Account Manager to join our Auckland team. In this capacity, you will handle and expand a portfolio of key multi-brand clients throughout the North Island. The position demands a self-driven sales expert who can strategically plan, autonomously operate, and achieve excellent customer outcomes in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and grow multi-brand customer accounts across the North Island.
  • Build enduring, trust-based relationships with clients.
  • Perform regular business evaluations to spot areas for growth.
  • Attain sales, revenue, volume, and margin objectives.
  • Design and implement strategies to develop accounts and clients.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional deals, contracts, and trading conditions.
  • Identify and secure new opportunities within current and potential accounts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Finance departments to deliver effective customer solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date sales forecasts, account strategies, and performance reports.
  • Ensure successful rollout of business and promotional initiatives.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated success in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales roles.
  • Experienced user of CRM platforms and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong commercial insight with competent negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent skills in relationship building and stakeholder engagement.
  • Capability in analysis, strategic planning, and solving problems.
  • Keen eye for opportunities and turning them into sustainable growth.
  • Highly organized with strong time management.
  • Experience in Construction or Building sectors is an advantage.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed across the North Island.
