About the Role
ALLEN Digital is hiring an Academic Counsellor to support admissions for its online learning programs. The position focuses on counselling prospective learners, explaining product value clearly, and helping convert interest into enrolments across JEE, NEET, and Classes 6–10 offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Work toward enrolment growth for ALLEN Online programs and products across JEE, NEET, and 6–10 segments by identifying suitable prospects and recommending the right solution.
- Build strong knowledge of ALLEN Online programs, digital features, student and parent benefits, and teaching approach, and communicate these effectively.
- Act as a representative for ALLEN Online at offline centres by leading, arranging, and delivering training and enablement sessions.
- Develop productive relationships with centre teams, Samvaad, marketing, business development, and centre in-charges.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and work consistently to meet enrolment targets.
- Send weekly progress updates covering achievements, bottlenecks, and suggested actions.
- Stay connected with prospects through inbound and outbound calling, email communication, and follow-ups.
- Act on leads coming from multiple sources and ensure timely pursuit.
- Plan and take part in field activities to create new leads.
- Share market observations and product feedback with leadership to help improve future planning.
- Keep prospect data and records updated in the CRM system.
Requirements
- Prior experience in counselling or sales for the 6–10, JEE, or NEET category.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Practical experience using CRM tools; knowledge of Excel will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of sales methods and negotiation techniques.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, quick to learn, and genuinely interested in sales.
- Ability to work with a flexible schedule.
- Graduate degree from a recognised university is required.
- Preferred background of 2–5 years in sales or counselling within JEE/NEET coaching.
- Comfortable working from the office for 6 days a week.
- Hindi or a regional language, along with English, is preferred.
