About the Role
This full-time coordinator position is for an experienced education professional who can oversee academic operations for a specific grade level while staying aligned with the organization’s vision and mission. The role focuses on driving strong academic outcomes, maintaining accurate academic records and data, and ensuring a positive parent experience. The ideal candidate will have strong academic grounding along with excellent coordination and people-management abilities.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead grade-level academic delivery and administration in an efficient manner, with a clear focus on student discipline and strong academic results.
- Work with central committees to roll out the curriculum in line with prescribed guidelines.
- Set and maintain high expectations for academic performance across students and staff.
- Keep teaching teams fully engaged and ensure that all additional academic work is completed on schedule.
- Make sure all processes are followed in accordance with board policies and instructions from central committees.
- Coordinate with the Principal and management so that all required information for the board, education department, and central office is shared accurately and within deadlines.
- Support the Principal in implementing policy changes and updates effectively.
- Plan, manage, and supervise school activities such as parent orientation, PTMs, sports day, coffee meets, student events, and competitions.
- Oversee the delivery of curricular and extracurricular programs as per guidelines.
- Ensure a positive experience for parents during all school interactions and resolve escalated concerns appropriately.
- Maintain clear communication with students, staff, and parents.
- Handle academic documentation related to student and staff performance, discipline, and other school records.
- Coordinate with central office committees to support smooth school operations.
- Guide, support, and motivate teachers so they can perform in line with the Orchids curriculum philosophy.
- Help reduce staff attrition by contributing to a healthy and supportive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies.
- Partner with the HR team to hire suitable staff within the required timeframe.
- Ensure teaching staff are periodically taken through induction programs.
- Take on any other responsibilities assigned by the managing committee.
Requirements
- B.Ed in any specialization.
- Prior experience in an academic coordination or education leadership role.
- Strong analytical ability and sound judgment for making practical recommendations.
- Comfort with technology and online learning platforms used in modern school environments.
- Ability to build agreement and resolve differences in decision-making situations.
- Outgoing, goal-driven, and able to mentor and lead teams toward measurable outcomes.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and evolving school setting.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, interpret branch-level needs, and implement solutions effectively.

Additional Information
This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, India. The compensation offered for the role is in the range of INR 3,50,000 to INR 6,00,000 per year.
