Job description
About the role
Machert Planungsbüro GmbH is looking for support in planning stages LP 1-5. The role is part of a compact, highly committed team made up of engineers, architects, technical draftspeople, and commercial staff in an assistant function. As the volume of planning work has grown steadily in recent years, the company now needs additional help across the full planning process, from concept through execution.
The assignments cover both new-build and renovation projects. These include commercial properties, refurbishments of residential buildings with and without listed-building protection, sports halls, schools, kindergartens, and other public-sector facilities.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming requests for new projects independently across all planning topics.
- Develop and coordinate the required concept and execution planning with clients for new construction and refurbishment projects, including basic project assessment, review of building regulations, and evaluation of site utilization.
- Take responsibility for coordinating with authorities, specialist planners, and external project stakeholders.
- Maintain clear and transparent communication with everyone involved in the project.
- Ensure that deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
Profile
The position calls for candidates with a completed degree in architecture or an equivalent qualification, along with several years of professional experience and broad interdisciplinary expertise. Applicants should work independently, take responsibility seriously, and approach tasks in an analytical and solution-focused manner. Confident use of standard office and digital tools is required, and strong teamwork skills are important.
Working conditions
This is a permanent full-time position based on a 38.5-hour work week. Compensation is negotiable. The role starts immediately and offers varied, interesting work, a small and highly engaged team, room to bring in your own ideas, and a workplace culture with flat hierarchies where trust and responsibility are given from day one.
