18T Delivery Driver

Role overview

This position is for a local delivery driver who will be an important part of the branch delivery operation in Inverness. The role is built around customer service, dependable route work, and maintaining strong relationships with regular business customers. The working pattern is 45 hours per week on an any 5 from 7 rota, which means some weekend shifts will be included.

Pay and working hours

• Hourly pay is £16.80.
• The schedule is based on 45 hours each week.
• There are opportunities to earn overtime.
• Fully funded CPC training hours are provided.

Key duties

You will be responsible for delivering goods locally, loading stock at the branch, unloading at customer sites, and making sure all delivery paperwork is completed correctly. A large part of the role is helping customers keep their shelves stocked with the products they need.

What you need

Applicants must hold a Cat C / 18T licence and have at least two years of driving experience. Previous delivery driving experience is preferred. The job also requires the ability to handle manual deliveries, along with strong communication, a positive customer-facing attitude, and good literacy and numeracy skills.
