Role Overview
The Warehouse Assistant will support day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound handling, storage, order preparation, and shipment readiness. The role requires careful checking of materials, coordination of deliveries, and maintaining an orderly and clean storage environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept incoming materials and arrange outbound items for delivery or shipment.
- Handle loading and unloading of supplies, store goods properly, and keep warehouse areas neat and organized.
- Prepare orders for dispatch or pickup by loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, and shipping them on time.
- Verify that received items match the purchase order and are in acceptable condition.
- Check the quantity and quality of incoming materials.
- Report any damage or discrepancies to the logistics manager.
- Coordinate deliveries according to system priority.
- Inspect goods before they are loaded onto the vehicle.
Qualifications
A high school certificate or diploma is required, along with familiarity with office equipment.
