The menu centres on fresh, local ingredients sourced from New Zealand growers and farmers, and the food is served in a relaxed setting that reflects a simple, thoughtful approach. The venue sits on the Waitemata Harbour in Britomart, across the historic Altrans and Quay buildings, with both the bakery and restaurant now part of the site’s story.

The opportunity

This role is for an experienced waiter to join a team that is equally passionate about hospitality. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of experience in a similar environment, a genuine interest in people and service, solid knowledge of food and wine, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and a strong desire to contribute to the success of the venue.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guests with a memorable, high-quality dining experience from arrival to departure.
• Represent both the venue and Savor Group professionally at all times.
• Guide guests with menu suggestions, take food and beverage orders, and deliver service smoothly.
• Work closely with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to keep communication clear and effective.
• Increase sales through strong product knowledge and build genuine, engaging relationships with guests.
