Overview
Great Value Hiring is looking for a Video Editor to support remote work on AI-focused media projects. The role centers on improving animations, visual effects, and related video outputs so they can be used to train and evaluate AI systems for storytelling, robotics, and educational use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Review animation and VFX deliverables, assess their quality, and help refine them for AI model training in storytelling, robotics, and learning content.
- Keep project folders, labels, and media libraries well organized so dataset building, annotation, and team collaboration run smoothly.
- Evaluate AI-produced media, incorporate stakeholder input, and make sure outputs meet quality, accuracy, and project goals.
- Create evaluation rubrics, review frameworks, and curated media datasets that can be used to train and benchmark video- and animation-based AI systems.
- Apply subject-matter knowledge to strengthen model outputs by spotting gaps, unusual cases, and opportunities to improve visual and narrative quality.
- Work with cross-functional teams remotely and provide clear written and spoken feedback to support ongoing model iteration.
Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on experience in video editing and post-production, including audio work and visual storytelling.
- Exposure to animation and visual effects work for digital media or educational content.
- Good organizational ability, close attention to detail, and the capacity to handle several projects while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to understand feedback and apply it effectively.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required, along with substantial experience in video or visual media production.
- Comfort working in a remote, collaborative setup.
Preferred Background
- Experience with robotics-related media, AI training data, or educational content production.
- Understanding of video engineering or experience creating media standards and evaluation rubrics.
- Awareness of current developments in AI, video, and digital storytelling tools and methods.
Compensation
The position is paid at an hourly rate of $40 to $80.
