Role overview

This position is suited to candidates from retail as well as career changers who want to build a future in a regional family-run beverage retail business. In the sales team, you will help ensure smooth store operations, provide customer advice, and contribute to a positive shopping experience together with your colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Present goods in a visually appealing and sales-oriented way throughout the store.
• Advise customers in a friendly, solution-oriented manner to create a pleasant buying experience.
• Process checkout transactions using modern software systems.
• Receive incoming deliveries, check them, and place products on the shelves.
• Handle customers’ personal empty-container returns.
• Carry out stock counts and cash register reconciliations.
• Monitor inventory levels and place replenishment orders when needed.
• Help maintain a clean, tidy, and well-kept sales area.

Profile and requirements

• A completed vocational qualification in a retail-related field is desirable.
• Initial experience in retail is an advantage, but motivated career changers are welcome.
• Enjoyment in selling and in actively engaging customers is important.
• You should be flexible and enjoy working as part of a team.
• A friendly, customer-focused manner and confident German language skills are required.
