Role overview
We are looking for a supply chain or sales professional to join the Customer Supply Chain team in Auckland as a Vendor Replenishment Planner (VMI). In this role, you will act as the link between the company and the customer, helping ensure replenishment is safe, efficient, and delivered on time.
The position is centered on customer partnership, service improvement, and strong day-to-day execution. You will help shape better supply chain outcomes by supporting operational planning, resolving issues quickly, and strengthening collaboration with the customer and internal teams.

Key responsibilities
- Carry out orders in line with the sales and demand plan to improve service levels to customer distribution centers while operating within tight supply chain efficiency limits and keeping total cost to serve low.
- Assess and help shape a 12-week operational plan for the customer network, identifying opportunities to improve service, productivity, and KPI performance while maintaining profitable service.
- Handle regular customer communication and promote effective collaboration by addressing issues proactively.
- Prepare daily and weekly KPI reporting, including metrics such as DIFOD, OBSL, and inventory levels, then lead root cause analysis and corrective actions when needed.
- Keep demand plans aligned through the collaboration process by providing order visibility and ensuring plans reflect expected inventory so internal and external stakeholders can make informed decisions.
- Partner closely with the commercial team to support aligned decisions across supply chain and sales, with a focus on strong customer outcomes.
What the employer is looking for
- Previous experience in supply chain and/or sales.
- Background in FMCG or CPG environments, ideally in food or another fast-paced category where shelf life matters.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Strong ability to manage time, priorities, and planning.
- Confidence working across teams and influencing stakeholders from different functions.
- A business or supply chain qualification is considered an advantage.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, sales, or supermarket retail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Power BI exposure is beneficial.
- SAP experience is an advantage.

Working arrangements
This is a full-time role of 38 hours per week. The position is based between the Avondale office and the customer head office, and flexible working options are available. No relocation support is provided.
