About the role
In this position, you will assess vehicles, identify damage at a glance, and determine which repairs are appropriate. Your expertise will be applied in an environment where vehicles are routinely evaluated, inspected, and moved as part of day-to-day operations.
The role is based in Ketzin / Havel, around 25 kilometres west of Berlin, and is offered as a permanent full-time position with an immediate start or by agreement.

What you will do
- Apply your technical understanding of vehicle systems to turn vehicle data into sound decisions.
- Work independently with care and reliability as part of the wider operational team.
- Carry out visual and technical inspections of motor vehicles.
- Recommend suitable repair approaches and support the calculation of repair costs.
- Prepare electronic condition reports based on factors such as vehicle age, accident damage, and overall upkeep.
- Produce the required photo documentation for each assessment.
- Perform additional special inspections for key customers when requested.
- Follow all rules and procedures related to occupational safety, health protection, fire safety, and environmental protection, and handle tools, equipment, and materials responsibly.
What we are looking for
- A strong technical mindset and an eye for detail.
- Completed training in the automotive sector.
- Initial experience in vehicle valuation, or the willingness to develop into a vehicle appraiser with support.
- Interest in modern vehicle technology.
- Familiarity with common vehicle valuation systems.
- A collaborative attitude and willingness to support colleagues from adjacent areas such as mechanics.
- A valid Class B driving licence, which is required for this role.
