PointClickCare is hiring a UX Designer for a 6-month contract opportunity in Canada. This is a remote position, though occasional travel to the Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City office may be required for in-person activities such as onboarding, team gatherings, and semi-annual or annual meetings.

  • Advanced professional experience in UX design.
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping and design tools such as Figma, DoveTail, Adobe tools, and Protopie.
  • Excellent visual design judgment, with a strong focus on interface quality.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Experience collecting and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience working within agile teams and workflows.
  • Knowledge of both established and emerging design practices.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine interest in supporting others and building relationships.
  • Creative and analytical thinking ability.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS to support discussions with engineers is helpful, though coding is not part of the role.
  • Experience with usability testing tools and analytics platforms.

Compensation and terms

The hourly pay rate for this contract is CAD 39.98 to CAD 44.42.
