About the Role
Red Kite Resourcing is seeking an experienced UX Designer for a 6-12 month contract position with a client based in West Dublin. This role offers a competitive day rate and requires a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of professional UX design experience. While the position is hybrid, with an expectation to attend the office in West Dublin approximately once per week, there may be some flexibility for the ideal candidate. The contract is anticipated to begin in early July and has the potential for extension.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research to inform design decisions.
- Develop wireframes, journey maps, and prototypes.
- Create detailed design documentation and reports.
- Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback and testing.
- Ensure designs adhere to WCAG Accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UX design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing an end-to-end UX process, including research, design, testing, and iteration.
- Proficiency in Figma is essential.
- High-level visual and UI design skills.
- Knowledge of WCAG Accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Experience in the financial services sector is considered a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.
