Andrew Simms Group is recruiting skilled EV Technicians to join the BYD North Shore dealership workshop. The business is growing its service team and is looking for technicians who are ready to contribute to a fast-moving electric vehicle environment.

What the role involves

This position is suited to trade-qualified automotive professionals who are comfortable working with advanced EV technology and who take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

What the employer is looking for

• At least 3 years of experience in a franchised dealership in New Zealand
• A careful, detail-oriented working style, especially when dealing with modern electric vehicle systems
• Strong enthusiasm for technology and a willingness to keep learning
• The ability to work quickly and effectively while maintaining high standards
• WOF certification is strongly preferred
• Experience with EVs or hybrid vehicles would be an advantage, although it is not mandatory
• Full BYD training will be provided
