System Trainer

This opportunity is being presented on behalf of a partner organization that handles all application review and follow-up steps. The hiring company is seeking a System Trainer located in Canada.

The role focuses on helping customers succeed by designing and delivering high-quality training for complex business software. You will connect product teams and end users, making sure both external customers and internal stakeholders understand the platform and can use it effectively. The position includes building, refreshing, and delivering training programs in several formats, and keeping the material current as the product evolves. You will work closely with product specialists, customer contacts, and internal subject matter experts to keep training accurate, useful, and impactful. This is a fast-moving, technology-oriented role that covers the full training cycle, from content development to delivery and post-session feedback review. Your work will directly support adoption, product knowledge, and customer experience.

Key accountabilities

• Create, update, and manage engaging training materials for both virtual and classroom-style delivery.
• Run interactive training sessions and coordinate all related logistics, including scheduling, coordination, and communication with clients.
• Regularly review and improve learning content so it stays aligned with product changes and user expectations.
• Work with cross-functional partners to make sure training is ready before product launches and feature updates.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers for training delivery, onboarding support, and feedback gathering.
• Partner with product teams so the training content reflects roadmap changes and new functionality.
• Keep instructional design, documentation, and overall content quality at a consistently high standard.
• Handle several training projects at once while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and on-time delivery.

Requirements

The preferred candidate will have strong experience in systems training, instructional design, and customer-facing enablement within software or technology settings.

• At least 5 years of experience in systems training or software application training.
• Background delivering training in a product development or software lifecycle environment.
• Strong instructional design capability, including the ability to produce clear, structured, and engaging learning content.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence speaking to different audience types.
• Strong planning and project management ability, including juggling multiple priorities at the same time.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with both internal teams and external customers at different levels.
• Experience facilitating interactive training sessions in person and online is highly desirable.
• Exposure to eLearning or multimedia training content creation would be an advantage.
• Must be eligible for, and willing to obtain, any required security clearance if necessary.
