Survey Engineer

Role Overview

As a Survey Engineer, you will handle both site-based and office-based surveying tasks that support infrastructure, land development, and construction projects. This position is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Doha, Qatar.

What You Will Do

Your work will involve planning and carrying out land and engineering surveys, marking out construction works, gathering precise field measurements, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. You will use tools such as total stations, GPS devices, and other surveying equipment to capture reliable site data.

You will also work closely with project managers, civil engineers, and CAD specialists to convert survey findings into drawings, reports, and digital models.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of land surveying and civil engineering, especially in infrastructure and construction environments. Practical experience with CAD and Civil 3D is needed for preparing and checking survey drawings and plans.

You should also bring supervisory capability to manage survey teams and coordinate on-site operations. Experience in inspecting survey outputs, site conditions, and as-built records to confirm accuracy and compliance is important.

A bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or a closely related discipline is required. Familiarity with GPS, total stations, leveling instruments, and related survey software is expected.

Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong problem-solving skills are essential. Good communication in both English and Arabic, along with the ability to collaborate in multicultural teams, will be valuable.

Previous experience in Qatar and familiarity with local standards and regulations will be considered an advantage.
